Gabe Deale has spent 20 years of his career in high-growth cybersecurity companies, most notably serving as the Global VP of Sales Engineering Irvine-based Cylance – the first cybersecurity firm to use artificial intelligence (AI) to secure the endpoint. While at Cylance, he formed and led the sales engineering team through its rapid, global expansion effort supporting its meteoric rise as the company grew 7,000% in three years and earned a place in history as the fastest-growing cybersecurity company to reach $100M! Before Cylance, Gabe spent over 14 years consulting, leading, and developing SEs and consultants and maturing (now six) startups through their formative years.
Most recently Gabe served as President and COO of Gozova, an app-based moving and storage logistics company funded by private equity investments from Fine Line Group (Family Office of Sasha and Ed Bass investment group) and TCRG. He oversaw the establishment and growth of its capabilities, service areas, and revenue by 10x in just 20 months despite receiving its seed funding in February 2020 just before COVID lockdowns. He exited Gozova in early 2022 after orchestrating the sale to Dallas-based Callbox Storage.
Eager to return to cybersecurity, Gabe joined the revolutionary new machine learning security startup, HiddenLayer, in May of 2022. He’s once again reunited with some of the brightest minds in the industry building world-class solutions for the latest cybersecurity frontier.
